This black stone pipe (that we believe to be steatite) 7 long, 2 1/2 tall to the very top, top is 1, and the pipe is 1 5/8 wide. The holes are roughly hewn. We cannot date the pipe. We only know that it was handcarved, very attractive, and exceptionally preserved. Notice the detail along the bird's wings and underneath where his feet are. If you are vieiwng this listing, i'm sure that you will know much more about this fabulous piece than we do. What i've tried ot do is picture the pipe in a variety of ways so that you can see it in its every detail.
