Rare clolared tube pipe ex. Wistariahurst msueum collection.
This is a rare collared tube pipe that was deaccessioned from the wistariahurst museum collection, a small privately funded museum in holyoke, massachusetts, that amassed a good collection of artifacts around the turn of the last century. Tube pipe is 2 15/16 long with a 1 7/16 diameter collared end, and it is complete and in excellent condition with a fine patina. There is a very old white painted inventory number 70 on the side, which was a common style of early inventory number on many of the pieces in this collection.
There is also a tiny remnant of an odl sticker with red outlines, also commonly used on artifacts at this time period. Whatever information was on the sticker is long gone, but it is nice to see the old paper still attached to the artifact.
